Look Good Feel Better (8:00AM)
This program is for women undergoing treatment for cancer and is sponsored and located at Bedford Memorial Hospital. Patients in various stages of treatment receive make-over tips and personal attention from professionals trained to meet their needs. They also use and take home complimentary cosmetic kits in their appropriate skin tones (light, medium, dark, extra dark) with helpful instruction booklets. Professional advice is provided on wigs, scarves and accessories. This program is from 10am till noon at Bedford Memorial Hospital in the glass room. The best entrance to use is in the circular loop in front of the hospital.

Respect: Forgotten Heroes (6:30PM - 11:59PM)
On Tuesday, January 6, at 6:30 PM, Bob VandeLinde will speak at the Westlake Library. VandeLinde will speak and sign copies of his book “Respect: Forgotten Heroes,” a book that pays tribute to at least 40 American heroes who proudly defended our country in World War II and in the Korean conflict. VandeLinde will be joined by some of the surviving local “heroes” who are featured in his book. All of these heroes who will be present live at the lake. We invite you to join us in helping to honor these brave men and women. VandeLinde’s book will be available at a special event price and all proceeds from his book sales will go to the D-Day Memorial.
