The Smith Mountain Lake Chamber of Commerce is an organization of Smith Mountain Lake business and professional people created to promote tourism, business and community growth, to develop and promote programs designed to encourage economic, social, cultural, and recreational interests of Lake area residents, and to advocate those policies and programs that will promote the interests of its members.

With over 790members, the Smith Mountain Lake Chamber of Commerce provides information and support to the lake’s growing business community. Our goal is to strengthen the social and economic environment of our community. We service a three county area consisting of Bedford, Franklin and Pittsylvania counties and maintain close ties with neighboring chambers in Bedford and Rocky Mount, and the surrounding cities of Roanoke and Lynchburg.
