The Smith Mountain Lake Chamber of Commerce features an annual "Four Seasons of SML" photo contest open to local amateur photographers.  The contest begins in August and finishes up in November.  Judging takes place the week after the deadline for submission and 16 cash prizes are awarded to the lucky winners.  Winning photos may be used in SML advertising/marketing in both local and national publications.  Photo credit is given where possible.
