Organizers of the Smith Mountain Lake Wine Festival are already hard at work planning for the 2009 signature event on Saturday and Sunday, September 26 and 27. Marking its 21st anniversary, planners are confident this year’s festivities will be the best ever and are preparing appropriately. More than 6,000 attended the 2008 event.
