Pineview Farm Alpacas

Our 25 acre alpaca farm is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, just a few miles from both Smith Mountain Lake and Roanoke.  We love every aspect of this business from taking care of the alpacas to showing them and especially that wonderful fiber!  Education is an important part of our business so we enjoy sharing our knowledge with visitors that come to our farm.   We are a full service farm offering boarding, breeding, sales, fiber and fiber products.

We love the alpaca fiber so much we started a new business – Pacabella (named after our love for the alpacas and our daughter Isabella).  We make organic soap hand-felted with 100% alpaca fiber.  You can visit our online store at www.pacabella.com.

We also have a new farm store on the premises.  Along with our Pacabella soaps, lotions and body wash, we now carry a fabulous selection of items made from 100% certified baby alpaca fiber – socks, hats, gloves, scarves, vests, coats, capes, stuffed alpacas and children’s books  – all great gift ideas!  So please come visit us and feel the warmth and softness of alpaca fiber for yourself.  But beware – you might just want to take a pair of alpacas home with you!

NO Charge. Groups are welcome!

Visit our website http://pineviewfarmalpacas.com/come-visit-our-alpacas/ for more information.

What's an Alpaca?  Come and find out!
Our working Alpaca Farm is set across from the Westlake Country Club entrance
with its mountain views, and wandering horses through our rolling valley.  Here, you will be able to take a 1.5 hour interactive tour where you can touch, feed, see the babies, and even hold an alpaca or two!  Have you ever hugged an Alpaca?
We are home to some of the greatest alpaca bloodlines in the country, so bring the family, small group, or group tour to learn everything alpaca, including the Science,
Incan  history, the Fiber to Fashion industry that holds Alpaca as the premier fiber of the world.  Even learn about the family farming aspect of raising these sweet and gentle animals.
The fiber from our herd goes to make famous
Pendleton Alpaca Blankets, which can be purchased in our gift shop while supplies last, along with our hypoallergenic Alpaca Pillows, Fine Alpaca Clothing and quality gifts.  Yes, we always have Alpaca Socks for sale!
